How to Use Your STAMPLING™

With your STAMPLING™ dumpling stamps (60 mm & 43 mm), crafting perfect dumplings, ravioli, or pierogi is quick, easy, and mess-free. Follow these five detailed steps to create delicious handmade treats in under 3 seconds each. Our FSC®-certified maple wood stamps ensure a sustainable, non-stick experience, letting you focus on the joy of creating and sharing food.

Step 1: Roll Out Your Dough

Start by preparing your favorite dough recipe—whether it’s for dumplings, ravioli, or pierogi. On a clean, lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll the dough to an even thickness of about 1-2 mm. Aim for a smooth, uniform sheet that’s thin enough to cook quickly but sturdy enough to hold your filling. Ensure your workspace is lightly dusted with flour to prevent sticking, setting the stage for perfect dumplings.

Step 2: Add Your Filling

Scoop a small, teaspoon-sized portion of your chosen filling—savory options like spiced meat, vegetables, or cheese, or sweet fillings like fruit preserves—and place it in the center of the dough. Space the fillings about 2-3 inches apart, depending on whether you’re using the 60 mm or 43 mm STAMPLING™ stamp. Keep the filling compact to ensure a tight seal and prevent leaks during cooking.

Step 3: Cover with Another Dough Sheet

Roll out a second sheet of dough to the same thickness as the first. Gently lift and place it over the dough with fillings, aligning the edges as closely as possible. Lightly press down around each filling mound with your fingers to remove air pockets and create an initial seal. This step ensures the filling stays secure when you use your STAMPLING™ to cut and seal the dumplings.

Step 4: Dip Your STAMPLING™ in Flour

Take your STAMPLING™ (choose the 60 mm for larger dumplings or 43 mm for bite-sized ones) and lightly dip the cutting edge into a small bowl of flour. This ensures the stamp glides smoothly over the dough without sticking, thanks to the smooth grain of our FSC®-certified maple wood. Shake off excess flour to maintain clean cuts and a polished finish on your dumplings.

Step 5: Press, Twist, Lift

Center your floured STAMPLING™ over a filling mound, ensuring it’s aligned for an even cut. Press down firmly to cut through both layers of dough, then give a slight twist to seal the edges tightly. Lift the stamp to reveal a perfectly shaped dumpling with clean, crimped edges. Repeat for each filling, and your dumplings are ready to cook—no mess, no fuss, just flawless results in under 3 seconds.
